OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

By signing up to NBA in the Classroom you will be automatically entered into our prize draw. See the prize draw terms and conditions for more information.

The “NBA IN THE CLASSROOM REGISTRATION INCENTIVE” (“The Promotion”) is a prize draw which allows participants to enter for a chance to win one of the offered Prizes (as defined below), pursuant to these official rules (the “Official Rules”), which are available online at https://classroom.nba.com. The promoter of this sweepstakes is NBA Properties, Inc., 645 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10022, USA Attn: NBA Fan Relations (the “Promoter”). Any questions relating to the Promotion can be directed to: nbaintheclassroom@harklondon.com. By taking part in this Promotion, an Entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules on behalf of both themselves and their school, confirms that they have permission of their school to accept these Official Rules and agrees that all decisions of Promoter are final and binding. The Promotion is subject to the laws of the England and Wales and any applicable local laws and regulations. These Official Rules apply only to this Promotion and not to any other promotions, draws, contests, or sweepstakes by the Promoter or the NBA Entities.

PROMOTION PERIOD:

The Promotion begins on May 21st, 2025, at 9:00AM GMT and ends on 19th June, 2025, at 11:59:59 PM GMT (the “Promotion Period”). The Promotion consists of one (1) Draw period for Prizes as set out in more detail below.

ELIGIBILITY, RESIDENCY AND AGE:

The Promotion is only open to legal residents of the United Kingdom, who are qualified teachers at schools within the United Kingdom, teaching students aged 11-16 years old (each, an “Entrant”).

The Entrant must:

1. be an employee of a school and have the permission of the school which employs them to enter the Promotion and accept any Prize (see below);
2. comply with all applicable policies of their school (including anti-bribery) and ensure that they will be entitled to accept a Prize in the event that they are successful;
3. notify the Promoter immediately if they have entered the Promotion and they are not permitted to participate by their school or otherwise;
4. be responsible for (or ensure that their school has agreed to be responsible for) any tax liabilities which may arise as a result of the receipt of any Prize.

The Promoter will remove Entries and forfeit applicable Prizes where an Entrant is not permitted to participate in the Promotion. The Promoter also reserves the right to disqualify Entries and forfeit prizes from other Entrants where it is aware that Entrant is employed by the same school, if it receives notification that employees or staff of that school are not permitted to participate in the Promotion.

Employees, officers and directors, and the household and immediate family members and/or those with whom such employees, officers and directors are domiciled, of NBA Properties, Inc., the National Basketball Association (the “NBA”), NBA UK Ltd, NBA member teams, NBA Media Ventures, LLC, prize suppliers, and advertising/promotion agencies and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates (collectively, “NBA Entities”) are not eligible to enter or win. For the purpose of these Official Rules, “household members” means those people who share the same residence and/or mailing address at least three months per year and “immediate family members” means any parent, spouse, sibling or child and their respective spouses. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of the winner. Internet access is required to enter the Promotion.

HOW TO ENTER THE PROMOTION:

During the Promotion Period Entrants must visit https://classroom.nba.com/ (the “Website”), then click “Register” and fully complete and submit the registration entry form which includes providing mandatory information (first name, last name, email address, school/establishment name, school/establishment postcode, job title or role, subject of interest, how many young people the Entrant plans to use the resources with, agreeing to the terms and conditions, contest rules and privacy policy) to enter (the “Entry”).

Entries must be fully completed with all of the required information and received by 11:59:59 PM GMT on the following date: 19th June 2025, to be eligible.

Entries are limited to one (1) per person. Additional Entries received from any one person or email address thereafter will be void.

There is no entry fee and no purchase is necessary to enter the Promotion.

PRIZES:

There are a total five (5) prizes available (each a “Prize” and collectively the “Prizes”) to be won across one (1) draw as set out in more detail below.

Draw: May 21st, 2025 – June 19th, 2025

Five (5) Prizes consisting of:

Five (5) class packs, each consisting of twenty (20) balls, twenty (20) Jr. NBA Cones, thirty (30) Jr. NBA white t-shirts (as selected by NBA in its sole and absolute discretion).

Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not transferable, refundable or convertible to cash. All prize elements and dates are subject to availability. No substitutions except at the Promoter’s sole discretion. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, where circumstances outside of its control make it necessary, to substitute the Prize or a component thereof with a prize of equal or greater value, including, without limitation, at the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion, a cash award. Prizes will be delivered within twelve (12) months of the conclusion of each draw at a mutually agreeable date and time for the Promoter and each school.

PRIZE DRAW:

A total of one (1) draw, awarding a collective total of five (5) Prizes will be carried out within the deadlines indicated below:

a- The Draw, through which five (5) eligible winners will be chosen from Entrants who registered for NBA in the Classroom via the Website during the period from May 21st, 2025 – June 19th, 2025, will take place by random computer process by June 26th, 2025, at 10:00 PM GMT from all eligible Entries (the “Draw”);

An Entry selected through the Draw will be eligible to win one (1) Prize in a given Draw. The odds of winning a Prize will depend on the total number of eligible Entries received for the given Draw during the Promotion Period.

In the event of any error of any kind whatsoever, resulting in more potential winners being selected than specified in these Official Rules, the Promoter reserves the right to hold a random draw amongst all potential Prize claimants to award the correct number of Prizes.

WINNER NOTIFICATION AND SELECTION:

The selected Entrants for the Prizes will be contacted via email or by telephone (using the details provided on the entry form) by a representative of the Promoter by the following dates: July 4th, 2025. Selected entrants will be contacted up to three (3) times. If the potential winner cannot be reached OR in the event a potential winner does not accept the Prize or fails to comply with these Official Rules and requirements within five (5) business days of being contacted by email or phone, the Prize will be forfeited. Upon Prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given, and the Promoter will have sole discretion to randomly select another potential winner.

Before being declared a Prize winner, the selected Entrant will be required to sign a Declaration and Release Form (the “Release Form”) stating that he/she has read, understood and complied with these Official Rules (including the eligibility requirements); is authorised by the school at which they are employed to accept the Official Rules; grants all consents required as contemplated in these Official Rules; authorizes Promoter, the NBA Entities and their designees and assigns to use the winner’s name, voice, city of residence, photos, video or film clips, and/or other visual likeness for advertising and/or trade purposes and/or for any other purpose in any media or format now or hereafter known without further compensation (financial or otherwise), permission or notification; and releases the NBA Entities and the supplier and/or provider of Prizes from any and all liability of any kind arising out of the winner’s participation in this Promotion and receipt and use of the Prize. If the selected Entrant fails to execute and return the Release Form within the required time period of five (5) business days, is otherwise not in compliance with the Official Rules, or is unable or unwilling to comply with these Official Rules, the selected Entrant will be deemed ineligible and will forfeit his/her Prize. A new potential winner will then be selected from all remaining eligible Entries in accordance with these Official Rules.

All decisions of the Promoter with respect to any aspect of this Promotion, including without limitation, the eligibility of Entries, are final and binding on all Entrants in all matters as they relate to this Promotion.

For the avoidance of doubt, Entrants who have not won a Prize will not be notified.

A list of winning schools will be published at https://classroom.nba.com/winners for the period of 30 days after the Draw.

INDEMNIFICATION AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, amend or suspend this Promotion or to amend these Official Rules, in any way, in the event of an error, technical problem, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter of the NBA Entities that interferes with the proper conduct of this Promotion as contemplated by these Official Rules. Any attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of this Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made; Promoter and the NBA Entities reserve the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend or suspend this Promotion, or to amend these Official Rules, without prior notice or obligation, in the event of any accident, printing, administrative, or other error of any kind, or for any other reason.

By entering the promotion, each entrant agrees to indemnify, release and hold harmless promoter, NBA Properties, Inc., The National Basketball Association (the “NBA”), NBA UK Ltd., NBA member teams, NBA Media Ventures, LLC, prize suppliers, and advertising/promotion agencies and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates (“the NBA entities”) from any liability, damages, losses or injury resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant’s participation in the promotion and the acceptance and/or use of any prize that may be won. The NBA entities do not make any warranties, express or implied, as to the condition, fitness or merchantability of the prizes.

The NBA entities shall have no liability whatsoever in relation to this promotion and will be released and held harmless from any claim, action, liability, loss, injury or damage or damage to personal or real property due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by any reason, including the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize and/or participation in this promotion. In addition to any other limitations of liability contained in these official rules or otherwise on promoter’s website(s), including the promotion website, promoter assumes absolutely no responsibility or liability for (a) any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, or for any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions or any entries otherwise not received; (b) any unauthorized access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entries at any point in the operation of this promotion; (c) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, camera, computers or providers utilized in any aspect of the operation of the promotion; (d) inaccessibility or unavailability of any network or wireless service, the internet or website or any combination thereof; (e) suspended or discontinued internet, wireless or landline phone service; (f) any injury or damage to entrant’s or to any other person’s computer or mobile device which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in the promotion or download of any materials in the promotion (if any).

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

The NBA Entities are not responsible for lost, incomplete, illegible, misdirected, garbled, stolen, or mutilated Entries or Release Forms.

Entrants in this Contest agree to be bound by these Official Rules and agree that the Promoter, the NBA Entities and their designees and assigns may use the Entrant’s name, voice, city/province of residence, photos, video or film clips, and/or other visual likeness for advertising and/or trade purposes and/or for any other purpose in any media or format now or hereafter known without further compensation (financial or otherwise), permission or notification.

In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these Official Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Promotion-related materials, including, but not limited to the Promotion Entry form, the Website, point of sale, television, radio, print and/or online advertising in relation to this Promotion; the terms and conditions of these Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control.

If an Entrant wishes to withdraw from the Promotion, a request should be made in writing to: nbaintheclassroom@everfi.com.

PERSONAL INFORMATION PRIVACY:

Privacy: Promoter shall collect personal data from Entrants when they enter the Promotion. Personal data collected from the Website is subject to the NBA privacy policy located at http://www.nba.com/news/privacy_policy.html#/ and will be handled consistent with that policy and subject to any specific privacy choices communicated to the NBA Entities. Personal information may also be disclosed to third parties solely to administer the Promotion and to award the Prize. By entering this Promotion, each Entrant consents to the Promoter and the NBA Entities and their agents’ collection, use and disclosure of Entry information for the purposes of administering this Promotion.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY:

All intellectual property, including but not limited to trademarks, trade-names, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source codes, drawings, illustrations, slogans and representations that appear on the Promoter’s websites and other sites in connection with this Promotion, are owned or controlled by the Promoter and/or its affiliates. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any copyrighted material or intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.

JURISDICTION OF LAWS:

This Promotion and Official Rules are governed by the law of England and Wales and any applicable local laws and regulations. Any disputes must be referred to the English courts. Consumers in Scotland and Northern Ireland may additionally bring an action in their home courts.

In the event any provision of this Promotion and Official Rules or the application of any such provision to either the Promoter or Entrant shall be held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be contrary to applicable law, or otherwise unenforceable, the remaining provisions of this Promotion and Official Rules shall remain in full force and effect.

The “NBA IN THE CLASSROOM RESEARCH INCENTIVE” (“The Promotion”) is a prize draw which allows participants to enter for a chance to win one of the offered Prizes (as defined below) and also an Incentive (as defined below) for selected schools, pursuant to these official rules (the “Official Rules”), which are available online at https://classroom.nba.com. The promoter of this prize draw is NBA Properties, Inc., 645 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10022, USA Attn: NBA Fan Relations (the “Promoter”). Any questions relating to the Promotion can be directed to: nbaintheclassroom@harklondon.com. By taking part in this Promotion, an Entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules on behalf of both themselves and their school, confirms that they have permission of their school to accept these Official Rules and agrees that all decisions of Promoter are final and binding. HOW TO ENTER THE PROMOTION:

During the Promotion Period teachers that register via https://classroom.nba.com/, (the “Website”), will receive a survey via email from an NBA representative or an email invitation to take part in the interview(s). Entrants may enter Component A of the Promotion (see below) by completing the survey, submitting their email address at the start of the survey and consenting to the use of their data for prize draw purposes.

Entrants may also consent to taking part in Component B of the Promotion (see below) via a standard research consent form (to include key information such as: who will administer the incentive, what the incentive is, when successful schools will receive it and conditions that need to be met) in order to be in with a chance of receiving the Incentive reward (see below).

Surveys must be fully completed with all of the required information, submitted and received between 00:00:01 AM GMT May 19th, 2025 – 11:59:59 PM GMT July 14th, 2025, to be eligible [for selection as part of Component A and the possibility of receiving a Prize (see below)].

Online interviews must be fully completed by 11:59:59 PM GMT July 7th, 2025, to be eligible [for selection as part of Component B and the possibility of receiving an Incentive (see below)].

Entries are limited to one (1) per person. Additional entries received from any one person or email address thereafter will be void.

There is no entry fee and no purchase is necessary to enter the Promotion.

PRIZES AND INCENTIVE REWARDS:

There are a total two (2) components to this Promotion; “Component A” is a prize draw for teachers, to include all eligible entrants participating in accordance with these Official Rules, “Component B” is an incentive for selected schools which selected schools may be eligible for if selected at random by the Promoter.

The prizes and incentives available (each a “Prize” or “Incentive” and collectively the “Prizes” or “Incentives”) are set out in more detail below.

Component A: Prize Draw for teachers: May 19th, 2025 – September 26th, 2025

• Twelve (12) Prizes consisting of:

– Two (2) x £250 Amazon vouchers.
– Ten (10) x £50 Amazon vouchers.

The Prizes are available to be won but the Promoter makes no guarantee that they will be won (e.g. if there are insufficient valid entries).

Component B: Incentive for schools: May 19th, 2025 – July 7th, 2025

• A minimum of five (5) schools whose teacher(s) complete the online interviews as Entrant(s) will be selected by the Promoter. As part of this research, these schools will have the opportunity to earn research incentives as detailed below. These schools will be selected by the Promoter at random
• Incentives consisting of (the total amount of Incentives awarded being determined by the completion of the online interviews by Entrants employed by the specific school):

– £60 Amazon voucher for an online interview with a teacher [XX]
– £60 for an online interview with 2x students

Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not transferable. No substitutions except at the Promoter’s sole discretion. Promoter reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to substitute the Prize or a component thereof with a prize of equal or greater value.

Only two (2) Incentives may be awarded per school qualifying for an Incentive (i.e. the qualifying will be awarded £60 or £120 depending on the number of interviews participated). Delivery of Incentives will be done within 2 weeks (14 days) of successful completion of the interview(s). When a winner is contacted, will they need to confirm an email address and full name to which the Amazon voucher will be sent.

PRIZE DRAW (Component A)):

A total of one (1) draw will be carried out within the deadlines indicated below (the “Draw”):

Twelve (12) eligible Prize winners will be chosen from all eligible Entrants who registered for NBA in the Classroom via the Website and submitted the requested data for the In The Classroom Research Survey during the period from 00:00:01 AM GMT on May 19th , 2025 – September 26th, 2025 PM GMT by August 4th, 2025 at 10:00 AM GMT in United Kingdom.

INCENTIVE (Component B)):

Schools eligible to earn Incentives will be as selected at random by the Promoter in accordance with these Official Rules. Not all schools will be eligible to earn Incentives. Eligible schools will be notified by the Promoter and must consent to take part via a standard research consent form, (this would include key information such as: who will administer the incentive, what the incentive is, when they will receive it and conditions that need to be met). There are two (2) types of Incentives.. The total Incentive to be rewarded to a relevant school will be calculated on the basis of research components participated within the deadlines indicated below (each individually, an “Incentive,” and collectively, the “Incentives”):

1. The First Incentive, through which eligible winners will be chosen from Entrants who consent to taking part via a standard research consent form and complete 1x online interview with 1x teacher participant, during the period from May 19th 2025 – July 7th, 2025, will take place within two weeks (14 days) of the interview in United Kingdom from all eligible entries (the “First Incentive Reward”);
2. The Second Incentive, through which eligible winners, will be chosen from Entrants who consent to taking part via a standard research consent form and complete 1x online interview with 2x student participants, during the period from May 19th 2025 – July 7th, 2025, will take place within two weeks (14 days) of the interview in United Kingdom from all eligible entries (the “Second Incentive Reward”)

An entry selected as a winner in the Component A prize draw will be eligible to win one (1) Prize.

An Entrant could be eligible to also receive two (2) Incentives depending on whether their school is selected by the Promoter.

The odds of winning a Prize will depend on the total number of eligible entries received for the given Draw during the Promotion Period. Winning a Prize does not affect an Entrant’s school’s chances of being selected as eligible to receive an Incentive.

In the event of any error of any kind whatsoever, resulting in more potential Prize winners being selected than specified in these Official Rules, the Promoter reserves the right to hold a random draw amongst all potential Prize claimants to award the correct number of Prizes.

WINNER NOTIFICATION AND SELECTION:

The winning Entrants for the Prizes (i.e. winners of Component A) will be contacted via email or by telephone by a representative of the Promoter by September 26th, 2025, and schools selected and, therefore, eligible to earn Incentives (i.e. as part of Component B) will be selected within two weeks (14 days) of entry. If the potential winner or recipient cannot be reached OR in the event a potential winner does not accept the Prize or a winner or recipient fails to comply with these Official Rules and requirements within five (5) business days of being contacted by email or phone, the Prize and/or the opportunity to earn Incentives will be forfeited. Upon forfeiture, no compensation will be given, and the Promoter will have sole discretion to randomly select another potential Prize winner or to select another school eligible to earn an Incentive. These Official Rules will apply to any replacement Prize winner and any selected school eligible to earn an Incentive, but they may be given a shorter period of time to claim their Prize/complete the research form to earn their Incentive (as applicable).

If the selected Entrant fails to execute and return the Release Form within the required time period of five (5) business days, is otherwise not in compliance with the Official Rules, or is unable or unwilling to comply with these Official Rules, the selected Entrant will be deemed ineligible and will forfeit his/her Prize. A new potential winner will then be selected from all remaining eligible entries in accordance with these Official Rules. These Official Rules will apply to any replacement Prize winner and any selected school eligible to earn an Incentive, but they may be given a shorter period of time to claim their Prize/complete the research form to earn their Incentive (as applicable).

All decisions of the Promoter with respect to any aspect of this Promotion, including without limitation, the eligibility of entries, are final and binding on all Entrants in all matters as they relate to this Promotion.

A list of Prize winners (first name, initial and school) will be published at https://classroom.nba.com/winners for the period of thirty (30) days after the end of the Promotion Period, unless the winner has objected on lawful grounds (in which event the Promoter may still provide the winner’s name to a relevant regulator in the United Kingdom).

The NBA Entities are not responsible for lost, incomplete, illegible, misdirected, garbled, stolen, or mutilated entries or Release Forms.

Entrants in this Contest agree to be bound by these Official Rules and agree that the Promoter, the NBA Entities and their designees and assigns may use the Entrant’s name, voice, city/province of residence, photos, video or film clips, and/or other visual likeness for advertising and/or trade purposes and/or for any other purpose in any media or format now or hereafter known without further compensation (financial or otherwise), permission or notification.

In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these Official Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Promotion-related materials, including, but not limited to the Promotion survey, consent form, the Website, point of sale, television, radio, print and/or online advertising in relation to this Promotion; the terms and conditions of these Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control.

Privacy: Promoter shall collect personal data from Entrants when they enter the Promotion. Personal data collected from the Website is subject to the NBA privacy policy located at http://www.nba.com/news/privacy_policy.html#/ and will be handled consistent with that policy and subject to any specific privacy choices communicated to the NBA Entities. Personal information may also be disclosed to third parties solely to administer the Promotion and to award the Prize. By entering this Promotion, each Entrant consents to the Promoter and the NBA Entities and their agents’ collection, use and disclosure of entry information for the purposes of administering this Promotion.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY:

All intellectual property, including but not limited to trademarks, trade-names, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source codes, drawings, illustrations, slogans and representations that appear on the Promoter’s websites and other sites in connection with this Promotion, are owned or controlled by the Promoter and/or its affiliates. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any copyrighted material or intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.

JURISDICTION OF LAWS:

This Promotion and Official Rules are governed by the law of England and Wales and any applicable local laws and regulations. Any disputes must be referred to the English courts. Consumers in Scotland and Northern Ireland may additionally bring an action in their home courts.

In the event any provision of this Promotion and Official Rules or the application of any such provision to either the Promoter or Entrant shall be held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be contrary to applicable law, or otherwise unenforceable, the remaining provisions of this Promotion and Official Rules shall remain in full force and effect.
