What is Jr. NBA 3v3?

Jr. NBA 3v3 aims to support teachers in delivering fun on court experiences and additional opportunities for boys and girls 10–14 to play, get active, and build friendships.

What do I need to know?

  • What is 3v3 basketball? 3v3 is a fast-paced, easy-to-learn version of basketball. All you need is six players, half a court and a ball! Check out our 3v3 packs for the key rules and games to get started!​
  • I’m looking for information on the Jr. NBA 3v3 tournament? The NBA and London Marathon Events are delivering an exciting new tournament to drive school participation in the growing phenomenon that is 3v3 basketball. Open to London schools with categories for girls, boys and participants in wheelchairs in Years 9–11, the tournament qualifiers for 2025 are already underway, so we are currently closed for new schools.
  • What’s next for the Jr. NBA 3v3 tournament? Keep your eye on the site for news of the Finals Festival on Friday 6 June, and other upcoming opportunities!​
